Introduction

This is a transparent ceramic coating solution that provides protection, easy cleaning, and outstanding anti-corrosion and anti-fouling performance in humid environments. Application Mechanism

The transparent anti-fouling and anti-corrosion coating works by creating a chemically bonded layer on the surface, preventing adhesion of grease, organic contaminants, iron oxide, aluminum oxide, and other pollutants, thereby maintaining the cleanliness of the surface. It significantly reduces environmental damage to the substrate.

How to Use

  1. Clean and dry the surface to be coated. If necessary, slightly roughen the surface and remove any grease or contaminants. Use a 0.5-3 mm nozzle at a pressure of 1-3 bar for spray application. A single coat should be applied, and the ideal thickness should not exceed 30 μm.
  2. Curing Conditions:
    • At room temperature: Dries to the touch in 1-3 hours (faster with ventilation).
    • At 80°C: Cures in 2 hours.
    • At 130-180°C: Cures in 0.5-1 hour.
    • The coated surface should be left to cure in a ventilated area for 5-7 days before use.
    • For substrates like stainless steel and galvanized steel, curing at ≥80°C is recommended. Higher curing temperatures improve the coating’s performance.

Application Scope

Suitable for metals, glass, ceramic, and stone surfaces. It can be used with organic solvents like PMA, ethyl acetate, IPA, TMA, MIBK, and secondary butyl acetate.

Due to TC-C1030’s special composition, the recommended dilution ratio is 5-10%. It is not recommended for use with strong acid or alkali cleaning solutions. Surface treatment may require cleaning with organic solvents before coating.

The coating is compatible with most inks and varnishes, but in high-humidity environments, additional adhesion promoters or primers may be required. During the curing period, avoid exposing the coated surface to water or solvents.

Storage

  1. Store in a well-ventilated, dry place, away from heat and flames.
  2. The product should be kept sealed and has a 12-month shelf life.
  3. If already opened, ensure the product is well-sealed. If it becomes turbid or separates, shake well before use.

Safety Precautions

  1. The product is non-flammable but may produce irritating vapors. Use in a well-ventilated area.
  2. The product may cause skin irritation. Avoid direct skin or eye contact. In case of contact, rinse with plenty of water.
  3. Wear protective gloves during application.
  4. Ensure the coating is fully cured before handling coated objects.
