Salt-Resistant Ceramic Coating TC-C5030-Description

Introduction

This product is a ceramic coating resistant to salt fog and corrosion. By forming a compact ceramic layer through hydrolysis polymerization, it provides excellent protection and superior salt spray resistance compared to conventional silane coatings.

Physical Properties

  • Appearance: Colorless to slightly yellow transparent liquid
  • Solvent: A blend of alcohol-based solvents
  • Solid Content: 5%

Main Features

  • High hardness, excellent salt spray resistance

Application Scope

  • Corrosion protection for metal surfaces in harsh chemical environments

Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.
  2. Apply using spraying, dipping, or brush coating.
  3. The recommended coating thickness is 5-30μm, with an optimal range of 10-20μm.
  4. The recommended curing conditions are 220°C for 10 minutes.
  5. After curing, the coating is resistant to solvents such as PMA, acetone, ethanol, toluene, THF, MIBK, and dichloromethane.
  6. If applied to non-absorbent surfaces, excess coating should be wiped off within 5-10 minutes to avoid streaking.
  7. Avoid excessive wiping, as it may reduce the thickness of the coating.
  8. Humidity and condensation may affect the uniformity of the coating; it is recommended to apply under controlled environmental conditions.

Storage Instructions

  1. Store in a sealed container, away from moisture and fire.
  2. The recommended storage temperature is below 25°C.
  3. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage conditions.
  4. If the product solidifies, gentle heating can restore usability.

Packaging Specification

  • Available in 1kg/5kg/25kg sealed containers; bulk packaging can be customized.

Safety Precautions

  1. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water.
  2. Use protective gloves and eyewear when handling.
  3. Ensure good ventilation during application.
  4. If irritation or allergic reaction occurs, seek medical attention immediately.
