Salt-Resistant Ceramic Coating TC-C5030-Description
Introduction
This product is a ceramic coating resistant to salt fog and corrosion. By forming a compact ceramic layer through hydrolysis polymerization, it provides excellent protection and superior salt spray resistance compared to conventional silane coatings.
Physical Properties
- Appearance: Colorless to slightly yellow transparent liquid
- Solvent: A blend of alcohol-based solvents
- Solid Content: 5%
Main Features
- High hardness, excellent salt spray resistance
Application Scope
- Corrosion protection for metal surfaces in harsh chemical environments
Usage Instructions
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants before application.
- Apply using spraying, dipping, or brush coating.
- The recommended coating thickness is 5-30μm, with an optimal range of 10-20μm.
- The recommended curing conditions are 220°C for 10 minutes.
- After curing, the coating is resistant to solvents such as PMA, acetone, ethanol, toluene, THF, MIBK, and dichloromethane.
- If applied to non-absorbent surfaces, excess coating should be wiped off within 5-10 minutes to avoid streaking.
- Avoid excessive wiping, as it may reduce the thickness of the coating.
- Humidity and condensation may affect the uniformity of the coating; it is recommended to apply under controlled environmental conditions.
Storage Instructions
- Store in a sealed container, away from moisture and fire.
- The recommended storage temperature is below 25°C.
- Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage conditions.
- If the product solidifies, gentle heating can restore usability.
Packaging Specification
- Available in 1kg/5kg/25kg sealed containers; bulk packaging can be customized.
Safety Precautions
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water.
- Use protective gloves and eyewear when handling.
- Ensure good ventilation during application.
- If irritation or allergic reaction occurs, seek medical attention immediately.
